12V Outlet Under Glove Box Install?
#1
Hi Everyone,

I have a 2017 M240i that does not have a 12V socket installed underneath the glove box, but does have the hole for the socket to go into.  It looks like a fairly simple DIY, but I don't want to get into having to remove a bunch of panels and covers to wire it to the rear/trunk fuse panel.  Would it be possible to wire it into a fuse of the FEM located in the passenger side footwell?  I was thinking of using an add-a-circuit to a pre-existing fuse or an empty slot.  I have not seen anything online regarding using the FEM, so it kind of worries me that I am missing something.

Thanks for any thoughts or suggestions!

Just an idea, make a parallel connection to the 12v socket in middle console. It would be easy to pass the cable thrue.
I do not have istad working, but if you have, check electrical diagrams there, and maybe it can help you

Hi again,

please find here (https://ufile.io/825m9eii), a schematic for electrical lighter.
On the right position, (usa comment), is what you need.

If you like, please hit thanks.
