Trouble updating hu firmware

cannot update hu firmware trouble starts with error at point of reading vcm, not able to read i read ecu  i follow all steps correctly but i dont see all options when updating such as bideploy swdeploy and such only one option shows this happens anytime i try to read vcm on a car with bdc body any tips would be appreciated as im sure theres something  i am missing
