Bimmer Scene - Latest BMW Coding / Retrofits / Maps

I'm very interested about this software.

If i made some changes let say Carplay activation on G30 and maybe NAV region change, after that car need to go online for software's updates will this be possible or will get stuck? 

 I made online update with dealer ISTA with such changes and nav stuck lost activation codes and couldn't go back not even on OEM state. German said need new HU.

in such situation Can this be reversed?

Also how much will cost?
