Bimmer Scene - Latest BMW Coding / Retrofits / Maps

hey guys... I've downloaded the latest n. america EVO apps.  Have an FSC code already for them.  I read elswehere that for EVO I need to enter the fsc code into it's own file and place that file on the USB drive as well.

Is this true?  I ask because that wasn't the case when I downloaded NEXT maps.  If true, can someone provide some specific details on what I need to do / format the file / name the file, etc..

EVO id5/6 requires FSC on USB patched or patched using feature installer
