Hi everyone,
As the title said I have a BMW X1 with head unit as in the title, NBT Evo ID6.
It is playing genuine and copies of audio CD's but refuse to play any mp3. files.

My question is what format of audio files are accepted by the HU?
I tried already, converting from 320kbs/s mp3 files into 257kbs with sample rate of 44.1kbs and 48kbs; no success. It is saying on the display that the format it is not recognised.
I would like to play some of my music collection/selections and audiobooks from CD. I don't really like USB sticks.. and I am sure it is worth having knowledge about playeable formats on the HU.
