once i download the maps do i just put them on a usb stick and plug them in my car or do i need an activation code sorry new to this
Download and extract maps on to USB
Plug USB in to car
Enter FSC Activation code in iDrive and it will start updating

I have downloaded the Move maps many time from all kinds of sites, followed directions to the letter and was nevr able to update my maps. been trying once in a while for two years now.

Yes, plugged into the glove box, should there be a config. file and pkgbd? read that somewhere
