I'm looking either for a solution to my problem below or just to disable the navigation i.e grey it out on an CIC e70
I'm pulling my hair out on this one - tried to pull the FSC code from the car but it went into a loop. I've got a mammoth of 24 hours+ driving over the holidays and I don't need this!
I removed the hard drive - navigation became greyed out and it was fine - the loop stopped.
However after a 30 minute journey and leaving the car to sit for 45 minutes/1 hr, I started her up and it started to go into a reboot again.
I also notice now Navigation is no longer greyed out??? Its obviously trying to load the navigation, failing, then restarting.
Is there anyway I can force the navigation off so it stops trying to load?
In the mean time I've created a clone image of my HDD and I'm re burning the image to the original drive - I reinserted the hard drive to no avail - the maps loaded then went back into a boot loop.
After removing the hard drive for the second time, the navigation momentarily again became greyed out and the boot loop stopped, however this didn't last more than a few starts. The navigation is now highlighted and the CIC tries to load it and I'm back in a 30 second boot loop.
Any help or guidance would be greatly appreciated. As it works without the navigation I assume this is the easiest solution but I'm open to anything.
Happy to pay for remote coding to fix the issue.
