Bimmer Scene - Latest BMW Coding / Retrofits / Maps

Hi guys,

This question might have been asked a gazillion times but I'm kinda new to the game, so please bear with me.

I've recently bought a 428i which was imported from the US and I need to change the region on the navigation to EU (Romania being my home country).

I've found multiple websites that give you codes that you load on a USB stick and once you plug the USB in your car, it's straight forward on how to change region. 

My problem is, that there are so many websites out there, and it's very difficult for someone new to the game like me, to know which one is thrust worthy or not, without being scammed. 

Could you guys please recommend a reliable website? Is it really that easy, once you have the file with the region change code on a USB you just plug it in your car and it updates?

depends on the software version you have. newer than 18-11 require the change via coding. usb works only until that istep.
this applies only to nbt evo.

the topic can be closed, as the member "[b]dmarctwm" [/b]helped me with this issue. All good now, the car now has EU maps.
