Hi guys,
after I bought and installed a retrofit id6 in my 2013 F31 I noticed a few minor things the seller didnt properly code in the HU. Since contact to him and his understanding of my english wasnt all that good, we never got to fix those problems and I was left trying on my on. It was my first time coding and I successfully coded things like start/stop off and other minor things like handle lights in reverse mode.
So I read that through VO coding I could get TMC back in my maps (I had TMC working on my NBT HU and it wouldnt work on the ID6 retrofit and since I often use Navigation it was kind of improtant to me). I added 6UH to the SALAPA-Element and coded it. The screen went to no signal. I then loaded an old FA and coded it again but it still wouldnt work, but 6UH was removed. I then learned that the FDL coding appearently changed and I had to code some parameters like screen type, resolution and Id-Generation for it to properly display idrive again.
So I got that working, apple carplay also still working and everything seems okay except Navigation is now loading and upon entering it demands a FSC via USB and I dont know how to do that. I read that you cant generate those yourself for NBT Evo HUs, is that right?
I would love some help with that and also few minor other things like the trip monitor/car info only displaying mileage and average speed (NBT HU used to show distance traveled, time spent in car and i guess some other information?), the Head-Up not displaying next song or previous song in entertainment and also showing orange arrows on orange animations in day when displaying navigation information so you cant really see where to go. I also wanted to know if theres a possibility to code in sailing mode in Eco Pro and functioning foresight and driving analysis, also of course TMC function since i really need it. Also no weather information. It just doesnt feel complete and right in the car at the moment and I hope someone can help me with that.
