Working n a 2007 E90. I am trying to use INPA loader to access my used ABS module to change the Vin. INPA loader says hit shift + F2 to get E 90.  First it says “language variance do not match - Malfunction possible ”. Secondly when you do the information look up you end up with bunch of yyyyyyy for the Vin number on the DSC module where all the other modules except a couple have the Vin numbers. I have successfully changed with previous versions of INPA E60 Vin numbers. ALSO why does this come up a showing E89 instead of E90 ? And why yyyyyyy ? Thank you

Hi empireauto.

You cannot change VIN using INPA. Instead of that, use WinKfp to change VIN and reflash your DSC module (use correct zusb number).
Be sure that you have latest spdaten for e90 (it will be e89 family).

According to your second part of post....There is no possibility that you change VIN's in e60 using INPA Big Grin, software is only for diagnostic.

E89 = e89/e90/e91 etc... is correct

If you need support, can fix this for you via TeamViewer
Yes please! Teamview help today if you can. Thanks
Or use tool32. you can change the vin without flashing (in most cases).
