I would like to introduce my current tool: BU-SESSION-LINKER.
✅ What does it do?
BU-SESSION-LINKER is a Windows batch wrapper designed to automatically manage sessions for BimmerUtility and E-Sys.
It helps to cleanly organize sessions and dynamically link E-Sys to the current working directories – no manual copying or renaming required.
✨ Features:
✔️ No manual path input required.
✔️ No risk of overwriting original files.
✔️ Clean session tracking with clear versioning.
Release Status:
✔️ Release 1.0 is available.
✔️ Fully functional without a restore script.

- Automatically creates timestamped session folders on the desktop.
- Creates a symbolic link
pointing to the active session.Code:latest
- Automatically symlinks the subfolders FA, SVT, TAL directly into the E-Sys directory.
- Renames existing E-Sys folders with the prefix
to safely preserve the original data.Code:WRAPPER_
- Directly launches BimmerUtility after session setup.
- Fully checks for admin rights and restarts automatically if needed.
