Hi there.
I am a new member here, have been on a couple of BMW forums for some time but now I want to add some retro fits to my wife’s M140i. Firstly mirrors. So I’m hoping I can get some help and then hopefully give something back to the community too, it shouldnt be all one way should it.
I’ll look for the relevant section to post but I have retro fitted the power fold mirrors and switch then altered the wiring. The windows and heated mirrors work fine but they don’t fold. I took it to be coded and the code took fine but they don’t work still, apparantly there are errors that won’t clear saying Lin bus error wrong switch version. The switch came from a 240i and was working so I’m confused because it’s apparantly the same part number. Hmmmm.
I’m an electrical engineer by trade so I know the wiring is ok, think I need to learn to code my self.
