F90 LCI M5 EGS flash to M5CS - jimizhou - 02-08-2022
Hi I tested ZF8 F90 LCI M5(Standard verion, not competition) can be flashed to M5CS EGS, the downshift when full throttle will be more aggressive, and drives better.
In Esys, change vehicle type 81CH(M5) to 71CH(M5CS), and calculate difference, flash EGS with the new calculated software, then you can test drive.

Is it possible to make these changes with FDL coding only if the values are known? Or must the EGS be flashed?
Also just want to confirm this works on a 2018 m5 base without risk of bricking ecu.
