G20 start stop memory coding - patrykv98 - 07-29-2023

Hi everyone!

I am a beginner in BMW coding.

I coded the memory of start stop button on my G20 with Esys (i have esys ultra launcher).
Everything is OK, but when the car is asleep and closed, the light on the Start-Stop button is stll ON.

Is this normal? It is possible to code it so that lamp does not light when the car is asleep/closed?

Greetings from Poland,
Patryk

Did you update the car recently?
What coding did you do?

I haven't updated the car yet. The actual I Level which i see in ISTA is SA18A-22-11-560.

The coding i did with Esys is TCM_MSA_MEMORY (i activated that).

I was already thinking about updating software, but i have questions about that.
I have ISTA+ 4.34.40 and orginal ICOM Next A. To update software with ISTA can i just download the newest PSdZData and make a update with my current ISTA? Or need I aslo the newset version of ISTA?

Newer firmware you cant disable start stop.
Its better to use correct ISTA with psdzdata full.
If you have psdzdata only you can use esys to flash.
