Korea to ECE navigation - wooshmuh - 05-18-2024

Hello guys
I got a F30 2016 NBT Evo ID4 Korean one
I want to change the navigation to European one
Can i do this only by patching the headunit and getting FSC for European maps? Or do i need to VO Unlock, Region Change and then FSC Pack?

Not possible to patch ID4 you need to update to id5 or get oem FSC

First time seeing someone say it's impossible to patch ID4 tho...

Oem FSC shouldn't work in Europe if the car is Korean i guess?

OEM FSC would work. You need to purchase the correct fsc for conversion to Europe.
For id4++ region conversion, i personally have to update to id5 first.

Can all of this be done through Feature Installer? Or i have to upload FSC manually through eSys?

And is this possible without having to update to id5?

Patch is done using feature installer. All FSC are automatically uploaded.
Not sure if someone can do it without upgrading to id5.

But upgrading to id5 requires flashing right?

I'm going to do a little bit more research because people here are converting Korean to Europe without having to update to id5 i don't know how.
