Coding for 5DL retrofit - mikola - 07-07-2024
I've recently finished retrofitting the 5DL option to my 2016, 528i, F10. Coded HU_NBT, FRM, TSRVC and ICM modules. The side view, and rear view are all fine. But I can't seem to enable the top view feature. I've just flashed the TRSVC, to make it up to date with my car as it used to belong to a 2011 F01. Didn't help. Looked inside the CAFD file of HU NBT, the top view is enabled and the camera has been set to TRSVC in there.
When I turn off the rearview, the whole screen is captured by the car image with parking sensors activated. So it's not even a black screen.
I've checked the top view cameras with ISTA-D and they seem ok as I can read their amperage and there's no fault stating that either of the top view cameras is not connected. I've taught all the cameras in.
What else should I do? Could you guide me, please?
P.S. I'm going to write a post detailing the whole process as there's no guide on retrofitting this option to F10
