Steering column F30 - Siki78 - 09-01-2020
Hello! I try to exchange steering column (9253751 with 9253752) and add vibration and electronic on steering wheel.
But soon when I put steering column I receiver error rückhaltesystem störung fahrer and each button on steering wheel it‘s not working. I try steering column and there everything working normally except steering wheel there all stop to working. Should I do some coding like LIN_VARIANTE_SZL?
How can I encoded used SZL?

Hi,
I think you have to adapt it with ISTA after replacement.
I guess your indicators not working as they should as well.
Start ISTA -> Vehicle Management -> Control unit replacement and find it there. I replaced mine for the one with High beam assist and I had to tell ISTA to 'learn it' but I don`t remember the steps. Anyway, ISTA nowadays it's built for the lame excuse for "technicians" most dealers employ, and should be simple enough to figure out using basic common sense.

What control steering wheel button? Electronic unit in steering szl or fem? I have just 2 pin in 12 pins connector power and ground and 4 wire a coming to szl
