vin mismatch cic - bmwE93-xxx - 08-05-2025
Hello everyone,
I installed a CIC from a donor car in my 2009 BMW E93. My voice control no longer works. Bluetooth sounds when I call someone, but the microphone doesn't work. Now I'm stuck and can't do anything, probably due to a mismatch in the security VIN. Does anyone know a solution?

Voice control is due to vin mismatch , you need to patch the headunit
Bluetooth and mic problem is coding problem , vin has no impact on this.

I'm not sure if I've asked correctly. The head unit hasn't been replaced, only the radio/CD/DVD player, which came from a donor car.
Inpa displays these errors:
MASK/CCC OKAY 2 Error stored
C57F 20
E1CF 20
When I make a call, I can hear the person microphone don't work.
Steering wheel-mounted voice control is completely unresponsive.
The navigation system is grayed out in the head unit.

radio / cd player etc etc , call it the way you like , in BMW cars it call headunit

The microphone has been resolved; the microphone was bbroken and not activated.
( Voice control is due to vin mismatch , you need to patch the headunit )
I followed the steps this guy shows in the video at about the 26-minute mark. But it won't perform these steps for me. Does anyone have a solution?

First of all you need to have the c1a version of cic so that you can patch without issues. Then you need to have the usb working, apply the patch, generate the fscs and then inject using fstool. If after explaination you still can't do it, message me so I can assist you.
