Need picture of G30 6WB PCB - bavees - 08-24-2025 Hello, I had a previous issue with my 6WB cluster which was mostly solved but it presented itself again today. I decided to remove the cluster and look at the PCB. Long story short it clearly had a CAN filter/blocker fitted sometime in the past. And not a plug and play one but one that had to be soldered on. TLDR -> I am looking for a picture of the underside of a 6WB PCB. If someone is in the process of virginizing one and can send me a pic I would be extremely grateful. For those interested in more details read below: I was able to find only a picture of how this would have been wired when the filter was fitted: ![]() What I am trying to figure out it what would have been there originally on the right side picture instead of the 4 wires. Currently the pins just have straight wires soldered on. I tried to remove the soldered wires and the cluster would no longer display anything. So clearly there was something there prior to the tampering. I would This is located exactly below the 12 pin connector on the underside of the PCB. I've been trying to find a clip or picture online for hours now but cannot because most only virginize them which does not require access the the underside of the PCB. And from what I gather current tampering has evolved to be just plug and play. So if anyone by chance is in the process of virginizing a cluster and is willing to send me a picture of the underside of the PCB I would be massively grateful. RE: Need picture of G30 6WB PCB - bavees - 08-29-2025 I found the missing part. It's a common mode choke, EPCOS 513H. Here is the exact part: B82789C0513H002 -> https://product.tdk.com/en/search/emc/emc/cmf_cmc/info?part_no=B82789C0513H002 Took out the PCB soldered it back on and cluster works great. Unlikely anyone will need it but this is the correct way to reverse intrusive CAN blocker installation. |
