E61 530D NCS Expert issue - Mast3r - 09-19-2025
im sorry if im posting it in the wrong thread but i have issues getting my FA VO it keeps saying that it cant read it due to it saying all the time that it cant read the E65 CAS2 all though it should only get the E60 the i integration is 09-06-520 so i assume pretty old as the car itself is 2004 01/11/2004 built
main issue is it doesnt want to connect to the car at all even through LMA

Hello. I hope you managed to solve the connection problem with your E60 and could give me some guidance on how you fixed it, because I have exactly the same issue.
I have tried three different K+DCAN cables, but the problem remains the same. I can connect to an E46 without any problems, but my E60 is not recognized at all.
I would really appreciate some help if you managed to solve your problem, because I have tried almost everything. I can only retrieve information through the LMA module, but I cannot connect through the CAS module.

Sometimes cars are coded eith launch and some crap added to vo to glitches it but you can bypass thst by using e60 ssd file snd use open file option in ncs then edit vo to shoe modules you need

The problem is that INPA can’t see the car either. My other E60 connects without any issues. I can connect to this car with Autel and Launch, and there are no communication problems.
The issue only exists with INPA, ISTA+, and NCS Expert.
I’ve already checked pins 3, 4, and 16 on the OBD connector, and everything is OK. I’ve run out of ideas
