BDC Errors After 5AS/5DF Retrofit (2023 X3, ID7 03.25.10) - PeterLee - 09-23-2025
Hi guys,
I have a 2023 BMW X3 with ID7 (03.25.10). I retrofitted 5AS + 5DF hardware before and everything worked fine after coding.
After a system reset, I re-activated using the BimmerUtility app. Now my BDC keeps showing two permanent errors:
- 030411: Steering wheel type error
- CF2101: Paddle shifter signal missing (my car doesn’t have paddles, only upgraded steering wheel buttons for ACC)
Does anyone know what to code or change so these errors disappear? Any tips would really help.
