Having trouble coding the HU, I already programmed the software to the I version successfully. The CAFD files are 255 255 255. The ones I need are HU_MGU2_0x63

did you hear about something called secured coding ??? , it means you can't code your HU without having the right certificate.

This is what I have so far as finding the signed ncd files.
c:\ProgramData\BMW\ÎŜ†Ä\ProgrammingData\Temp\ncd
This is the location ÎŜ†Ä+ downloads the signed ncd files if you use the online BMW AOS ÎŜ†Ä+ and attempt programming.
I am using the VCX se emulated to the ÏçØɱ NEXT, which lights up the green status and shows it's an ÏçØɱ.
But it is not performing great for programming using ÎŜ†Ä+ online, it's sketchy. But programming with ėšÝ§ using the VCX se has been steady.
Going to attempt to update the CAFD files in the HU, I was able to program the HU with ėšÝ§ under 8 minutes using ecom.
I just couldn't code it. I had the files downloaded from trying ÎŜ†Ä+ but didn't know what I was looking for.
Now that I know what files to use I will see if the signed ncd files can be NCD coded.

CAFD files not found solved, pszdata file was mis directed.
Now getting cafd_00007d8d-000_144_101 NotExecutable when running NCD coding in error log.

I have NCD signed files (from BMW and online source) and when I try to NCD code them they are reporting an error as not executable. The file format for the NCD has the btld header to direct the btldr to install the signed file in the ecu. When I try to open the signed file in NCD tool I get "proper CADF signature not found" , is this because NCD tool is unable to decode the newer NCD files ? I am using ėšÝ§ 24.xx to program and code the HU. Not sure if a better software or different version is available. The car is at 25-07-551 I-level.

Latest update, All modules (except HU) programmed and coded with signed VCD files no problems. I think the HU needs to be re-flashed again because it won't accept the signed NCD files. The other modules programmed pretty fast, and the NCD files code quickly. The process is very easy. I will write up a dummies guide to flashing and coding the u006 model as a week ago I didn't have a clue how to do it. I tried using ÎŜ†Ä+ BMW online and it messed up the HU unit, put it transport mode, then lost coding (cafd). ÎŜ†Ä+ you cannot do individual module programming it calculates everything and you only can choose execute plan or not. Really sucks. You need original ÏçØɱ NEXT to use ÎŜ†Ä+ online and even then you still might have problems. ėšÝ§ very stable for programming and coding with signed NCD files.

Just received my genuine ÏçØɱ Next A. Going to try to run ÎŜ†Ä+ online and see if it gets the BCP setup properly and gets the ethernet working for the MG2_HU. I was able to reflash the MG2_HU bootloader and the software files with http mode disabled using ENET. I edited the files with the TAL-editor and selected UDS in the preferred protocols. All the ecu files load and now all are black when I calculate a target file, except for the MG2_HU cafd files. I have signed NCD files but when I try to code them they fail to execute but the attempt is started using http communication which isn't working. Not sure of what is missing, but the CBB file had a lot of the certificates and bindings, the features show activated. Didn't expect to run into this using the INSTA+ online, but not having original ÏçØɱ may have contributed to this. But have learned quite a bit. ėšÝ§ works really good to VO code with signed NCD files and to update the ecu files to whatever target level you calculate as long as you have the correct files. Just need to learn the security features and make a checklist of what to look for. Need to learn the engineering mode and plant mode security tasks.

Connected to vehicle 2024 X1 M35i and ÎŜ†Ä+ online. Calculated measure plan, executed plan repaired gateway, programmed MG2_HU, coded. Calculated measure plan again, updated entire vehicle to 2025 NOV I step. Performed EPS startup routine as the module was changed. All modules green, MG2_HU and KOMBI working back to normal. About a 45min process for first executed plan and around 45min for second time. The VCX se emulating the ÏçØɱ works for offline functions but so does the enet cable. The original ÏçØɱ Next worked perfectly. Ordered online ~$680 1 week delivery. Not cheap but works as intended.
