Hi
Does anybody know what coding is involved in downgrading pre lci f10 headlights from adaptive to standard xenon is is just changing vehicle order

why bother with the involved coding , simply remove 524 from your FA , code FRM

Thanks for the reply its for a customer of ours the lights in it at the moment are full of water and he wanted a cheaper option than replacing the adaptive versions .So if i fit standard xenons al i need to do is remove 524 from the fa and code

coding might not be the only solution , you need to study the wiring diagram of adaptive headlights vs normal headlights.
but yes , removing $524 from the car , then coding frm with the new adjusted fa should disable the adaptive option.

Sometimes, when you change the vo to normal headlights, you will get a vertical aim error.
And no need to check the wiring diagram
