2017 740i G12 istep - Tkhemili - 12-22-2025

I am planning to update my i-step version of my 2017 G12 7 series with E-sys. I have a battery maintainer. Should this be sufficient?

This is only a 12V battery charger according to the specs.

You need a good power supply which can provide around 13.5V with nearly 100Ah like the one posted by Fliyer.

There is a big difference between battery charger and power supply. I personally built my own power supply out of 2 powerful Server power supplies , each is 60Ah @ 14V. But ready made ones are all over the internet.

Sounds good. Thanks guys. I will use one of those instead.
