i8 (i12) Anti Dazzle coding - Roatomic - 01-19-2026 Hello, so as the title entails im trying to get anti dazzle headlights working on a 2019 i8 with laser lights. Ive verified via AIR the option codes of the car and all relevant option codes are present. i removed 8S4 from the VO and verified that 5AP is not present then encoded the BDC, NBT EVO, KAFAS and both FLE modules. Following this the result for auto high beams is still the binary on or off state and introduced an issue where the ICE engine would not start and the vehicle was only driving under battery power only. This was seemingly resolved after restoring the VO and encoding the BDC and KAFAS modules. After doing further research it seems like later i8 models may have come with KAFAS camera modules with the HBA option was hard coded to static for the US market and will only function if i flash the KAFAS camera to the euro variant. I have not yet done an NCD compare between the two but plan to shortly. in the mean time has anyone coded anti dazzle onto an i8 and what was the process for you? There isnt much information out there in regards to i12 coding and even fewer on anti dazzle beyond a few forum posts saying its possible. |
