Question about k-dcan - Mehmetdogan2002 - 03-25-2026

Hi admins,

Please advise if this post is in the incorrect section. Not intentionally posting in wrong area.

I have a k-dcan cable. Would I be able to program e series using k-dcan, or is an icom mandatory?

As long as you stay away from control units in the MOST loop, there are some chances getting some units done with USB cable. I would't, however.

You could update firmware of the cable, it will improve the bandwidth but most important is to have stable voltage during programing. I've killed my dde during programing because one terminal was loose and i reconnected the terminal and it was over. Even with good quality dcan don't touch MOST modules
