Ambient air coding?
#1
Anyone have a cheat sheet to code the three Modules for ambient air option on 1 2019 g05 x5?

All I know is that the VO of Ambient Air package is 4NM , but I can't tell which ECU's are responsible , but logically IHKA - NBT2 - and BDC are definitely involved in this option.

If you have any Esys Launcher ( Esys Ultra or BU ) , you can easily find out the coding list of all ECU's.

1- You add the VO to the car's FA which includes all the options from factory, not to the individual modules.
2- I advise you to code all the modules after adjusting the FA, just to be on the safe side.
3- you will lose only your custom coding , meaning if you did some manual coding , then those will be wiped out , but you will not lose the factory coding.

So using BimmerUtility I played around with it today and have some questions. Isn’t fa and vo the same? So I click the ambient air fa and wrote it to car I then compared it to a previous saved one that didn’t have that in the vo. It told me that there were two changes in the hu mgu and two changes in the hvac. When it did this all other modules lost my custom code and I had to recode every modules.
Is there an easier way of doing this?
Does it sound like I got all the code for the ambient air system by doing that?
Is there anything wrong with just adding the code and not adding the option under vo? Thanks
