xHP Flashtool
#1
Hi guys,

Really need some help here.   New to the forum.   I see lots of you are experts here.
I have a 2011 F10 535i,  car was running fine without any fault codes but recently  I use the xHP Flashtool to code the transmission,   after I coded it It shows the "Chassis Stabilization Failure".  This error will disable my sport / sport+ mode.   I can only drive normal mode.     Some people say it could be the wheel speed sensor, but in ISTA software I don't see any option to check that.   Also i think my car is little too old with the firmware/software.   ISTA software update also grayed out.    Is there way to update my car's module firmware/software.

Even though delete the fault code.   Within 1 min, the Chassis stabilization malfunction error will come back.

I just want to get rid of that error and able to use sport/sport+ mode.

Any help will be great.

Thanks
Ced

hummmm I don't think mine is EDC.   I don't see any button or settings for that.

I think my car needs to do software update. Do you know how to do it ? May be this will clear the Chassis Stabilization Malfunction error.
I just ordered a tester. Wanna see if my wheel speed sensor is functioning. Since ISTA can't do any test to it (I don't see any where I can test It)

I got an error after flashing my F31 with xHP, not the same as yours but it was immediate after flashing the transmission and it was obvious it wasn't a true fault. Whenever the automatic engine stop/start functions I get a Transmission overheat warning on the iDrive.

xHP have confirmed that its the iSTEP version of the car being below what xHP expects to see, local independent BMW specialist quoted £108 to flash the car to the latest version. Well worth the money to me as I don't fancy carrying out a 7 hour flash of all modules by myself.

It is generally always a good reminder to get your original software updated to the latest before any tune to DME/DDE or EGS is done - this will also 9/10 times avoid your dealer to perform a software update that will delete your tune, as it is always recognized as being the newest possible. At least for all F and E series by now.

If someone has such problems, I can fix it remotely.

I have the problem with the Chassis Stabilization Malfunction error.  I can't use the sport mode.   Every time when I start the engine, it shows "Chassis Stabilization Malfunction".    Do you think you can fix it ?     I think the modules in my car needs to be updated, but I don't wanna spend like 6 or  more hours doing the update.   Car is running fine except I can switch to sport + mode.  Very annoying.
