Hello everyone, is it possible to activate the drive recorder on the g20 series mgu? Possibly with an fsc? Thanks for any reply, regards George

Hello !

From what I understand, it would not be a good idea to crack the head unit to allow not genuine FSC codes.

It would be better to buy this option from BMW for 130/140 euros for 3 years or there is an unlimited possibility for a larger amount ... do the same for navigation when it expires.

If you break the head unit to allow non-genuine FSCs, you may have issues with a new over-the-air (OTA) update, by losing the other original FSCs ... the bad part is that no one will let you know about these risks when you want to activate by coding "camera drive recorder" or the navigation that has expired with a new non-genuine FSC code !

To summarize, if you've come to the conclusion that non-genuine BMW camera recording or expired navigation or any other component that involves non-genuine FSCs codes is worth coding, then you should stay away from any future updates OTA.
