SVT calculation error, when using my I-Step shipment value for Alpina EGS flash
#1
Hi,

As the title suggests, I'm encountering an error when calculating the SVT, using:
Psdzdata v4.24.12 full with esys 3.30.1

I've added the relevant FA config for an Alpina, for my 2014 F13 640d:
920, 9XA
Type code set to 5D71
Zeitkriterium left untouched - 0714

I-Step details are:

If I calculate the SVT, as a complete flash, using:
Shipment 17-04-503
Target 20-07-520
I get this error

If I change the shipment value to:
15-03-500 it calculates without error and I can see an SWFL update

I have a few questions please:
1. Do you know what is causing the initial error, using the matching shipment level to what I've read from the car?
2. Would there be an issue proceeding with a newer shipment value, where it successfully calculated the SVT file?
3. Is it just the SWFL that requires updating? As nothing else is showing an update under EGS.

Many Thanks in anticipation for any help.

Cheers

Bradley

Use F11, Typecode 5K51, 920, 9XA and 0713.
You can't generate Alpina flash TAL with F13. The right SWFL is ...1367....

Thanks, I'll give this a try over the weekend and update with the outcome.

Just tried this, now it calculates the SVT target file, though there are no updates for EGS

Here's the FA I edited

I've also tried a type code of 5D71, though that doesn't show an update either.

Any thoughts on what I can check next?

Thanks

Hi,
i have calculated with your data from screenshots. No problem here. Wink
Use the generated tal in attachement. I have sent password to your pm box.

Thanks, that's very kind.

I'll aim to execute it over the next couple of days, in between work.

To help me learn, and figure out what steps I may have carried out incorrectly, would you mind listing a brief order of what I should have edited, calculated etc?

Thanks

I've just flashed the provided TAL file and it has worked, thanks.

I'll test out how this gearbox map feels and then decide whether I leave it on or go for XHP.

So how it going here?  Its worth to change to Alpina or rather xHP?

I have the same problem with my F07 (535d, 2010). I use XB71, 1211, (VO 920,9XA) and then I select I-step(shipm) from the same year 1112 and when I calculate I get error

Issue is with FRM. You can try modify the FRM in svt to allow calculation of SVT target
