in essence the Type changed to EURO or US spec GTS

Calculate TAL based on GTS FA and SwDeploy to EGS

For EURO MDM Mode etc this is FDL coding

There are some common pitfalls a fixes as you go along the way!

Yes I did. Its a similar procedure to when your doing Alpina flash. You need to changes the type code and then you will need to play with production dates and istep shipments until you generate 000038c1 code which is for GTS. 

Some modules will have Hardware incompatibility which you can still flash at your own risk. ( the boot loader is the same) 
And do not flash DME ( it will flash fine, but you need a GTS Fsc code to be successful) 

It a trial and error at first. After you do it a few times its a smooth sailing

Definitely no FSC required for EGS flash. I have successfully flashed a few M3/M4s with GTS and CS maps without any issues at all

Likwise - I was pointing out that info on M3/M4 GTS flash seems to not be shared publicly as people want to avoid BMW catching on to this and then deploying FSC to stop us doing flashes.

There are a few ECU´s where you can code. I prefer FDL-coding rather than VO-coding.
You can try this with e-sys.

EGS4 is the only ECU, which can be flashed with a different swfl. But it depends on your i-step.
Use BMW´s original full-psdzdata.

BMW stops building the F82GTS at the end of 2017:

38C2 is dkg436_Daten_GTS_US with Patchlevel 056
38C1 is dkg436_Daten_GTS_RoW with Patchlevel 056
2290 is dkg436_Daten_CSL_RoW with Patchlevel 056
These versions only work, if your F82 is built before 2018.

On later cars none of these versions work.
They use following CS-versions:
695C is a dkg436_Daten_CSL_China version with Patchlevel 064
695B is a dkg436_Daten_CSL_RoW version with Patchlevel 064

You will also get this for free, when buying BM3 or MHD...
But don´t expect too much and don´t pay money for that.
Your F82 won´t upgrade neither to a CS nor a GTS!!!
