Hello There,
I work for a vehicle importer and we import Canadian vehicles to the US and I program the instrument clusters to conform to US standards. We perform all conversions in-house except BMW's until now. (hopefully)
Looking forward to learning as well as helping others when possible.

You mainly need to modify the FA and change the typecode and remove some options for canada. But it maybe not necessary since they are similar. It depends on the FA of the car.
If you are programming instrument cluster then you may only need to fdl code required parameters.
