It uses same connection as BMW f and g series. Use esys and a launcher( or bimmerutility to edit cafd)

Here are the changes for a R1250GSA to activate the DRL (XLIGHT) and cancel the low beam in North America if you have the DRL switch on the left hand cluster that was supplied with the LED headlight retrofit if your bike came with halogen and then upgraded to LED:

Also if you just add 202 - (Day Driving Lights) to the FA and VO code it will achieve the same thing.

Using Bimmerutility.

NCD1 = Factory
NCD2 = DRL Active
BCO FILE:
Code:
led_DayDriveLight_Active
NCD1: not_active (00)    NCD2: active (01)

led_DeactivationModule_PosL_Active
NCD1: not_active (00)    NCD2: active (01)

sdl_DDLAutomatic_Active
NCD1: not_active (00)    NCD2: time_dependence (01)

sdl_PosLight1LockWhileDDL_Active
NCD1: not_active (00)    NCD2: active (01)

sdl_HighBeamOnWhileDDL_Active
NCD1: not_active (00)    NCD2: active (01)

sdl_DDLAutomaticCAN_Active
NCD1: not_active (00)    NCD2: active (01)

led_DutyCycle_Pol_Gen2
NCD1: 10_percent (0A)    NCD2: wert_50 (50)

led_DutyCycle_Ddl_Gen2
NCD1: 32_percent (20)    NCD2: 100_percent (64)

prm_LedGen2DdlStaticMode_DutyCycle
NCD1: NoDDL_K50K51 (0C)    NCD2: DDL (64)

prm_DynamicLightSequence01_LedGen2DdlDutyCycle
NCD1: POS_K50K51 (0C)    NCD2: DDL (64)

UNBELEGT
NCD1: wert_00 (00)    NCD2: wert_01 (01)

KOMBI:
Code:
tmg_DWA_LED_ActiveTime
NCD1: initwert (1B)    NCD2: value_02 (0A)

cfg_LightDefectInput_FSA
NCD1: active (01)    NCD2: initwert (00)

brt_auth_BrigReduction_Enable
NCD1: Active (01)    NCD2: initwert (00)

set_DRL_Automatic_Enable
NCD1: initwert (00)    NCD2: active (01)

set_DRL_Automatic_InitialValue
NCD1: initwert (00)    NCD2: active (01)

If you have a heated grips and no factory seat heating.

Here are the changes for a R1250GSA:

This will allow 5 levels of grip heating instead of just 2:

Using Bimmerutility.

NCD1 = Factory 2 Heat levels
NCD2 = 5 Heat levels

BCO FILE:
Code:
hah_PushButton_NumberSteps
NCD1: 2_stps (02)    NCD2: 5_stps (05)

hah_HandlerLeft_Step1_DutyCycle
NCD1: 60_percent (3C)    NCD2: 25_percent (19)

hah_HandlerRight_Step1_DutyCycle
NCD1: 60_percent (3C)    NCD2: 25_percent (19)

hah_HandlerLeft_Step2_DutyCycle
NCD1: 100_percent (64)    NCD2: 35_percent (23)

hah_HandlerRight_Step2_DutyCycle
NCD1: 100_percent (64)    NCD2: 35_percent (23)

hah_HandlerLeft_Step5_DutyCycle
NCD1: 80_percent (50)    NCD2: 100_percent (64)

hah_HandlerRight_Step5_DutyCycle
NCD1: 80_percent (50)    NCD2: 100_percent (64)

hah_HandlerLeft_Step6_DutyCycle
NCD1: 80_percent (50)    NCD2: 100_percent (64)

hah_HandlerRight_Step6_DutyCycle
NCD1: 80_percent (50)    NCD2: 100_percent (64)

If you want the heating menu to pop up instead of just pushing the button to cycle through the levels:

KOMBI:
Code:
cfg_HMI_HeatingPopupMenu_Enable
NCD1NCD1: not_active (00)   NCD2: active (01)

TO enable the selection of Metric or Imperial units on USA bikes:

KOMBI:
Code:
unt_ConsumUnit
NCD1: mpg_us (02)       NCD2 :initwert (00)

unt_TachoUnit
NCD1: mph (01)            NCD2: initwert (00)

cfg_AvailableUnits_Speed
NCD1: only_mph (02)    NCD2: initwert (03)

Mr. Korey.
Thank you for valuable information.
My R1250GSA is a 2022 model for Japan. This bike does not have a DRL switch on the left handlebar. If you know how to code to enable DRL in this case, please let me know.
