Hello beautiful people of Bimmerscene,
I have been trying to find a way to install the 4.52.4x standalone and I believe I have the lastest update; I downloaded it on 6/26/2025. I am running a Windows 11 64x and it's my first time working ISTA anything. I tried to run the 4.52.40 standalone installer, putting the password, and going through with the entire install. When I look at my EC-APPS folder, I only have ISTA and no other folders that I've seen other tutorial (EDIBAS, SQLiteDBs, etc.). I noticed them in the torrent file so I try to manually extract them and create their respective folders. I also torrented the 4.52.40 PSDZData and created a swidata folder in ISTA folder and placed it all in there. I've also changed my rheingold registries
After I thought I installed everything, I try to run EDIBAS 7.7.1 and 7.3 (these are from manually extracting and placing in EC-APPS), but nothing happens after it requests for admin permission. I try to run ISTA+ on the desktop and receive the following error: Failed to start ISTA. Please make sure your ISTA configuration is valid. In doubt reset any non standard ISTA configuration and reinstall ISTA.
I tried to press the log? button next to the X, but it doesn't do anything. Can someone help me understand what to do? I try to follow instructions and guides online, but none of them are like this standalone and make sense.

I need some quick help,
I'm looking to install the Ista 4.56.23 standalone , and when I click on the **Standalone_EN_**.exe, it asks for a password. When I enter it, and I believe I'm entering the right one, it's saying that extraction failed. So then I try clicking on the individual archives, the 7zip **Standalone_EN**.7zip, and when I click on those, it says, cannot open, this encryption archive is not supported yet. So I want to know how do I get going here, because I know it's supposed to be one installer, and you don't have to unzip everything, it'll do it for you. But I'm not sure, maybe it's as simple as I'm entering the wrong password, but I got it from the thread. does the password have the full url surrounding it? i tried both way with and without, So I was wondering if you could just guide me in the right way.
Much Appreciate.

I was able to figure it out.I do have a question on thethe voltage not being reported in ISTA when using enet. I keep getting a message about voltage being below threshold. I have a bunch of updates according to ISTA along with Idrive.do I need the full PZDAta for this. ? It was willing to update the car so not sure if it knows that it doesn't have the full data or is it gonna try and grab it onlne or something? I saw something in the plan to download updates. kind of nervous doing updates using enet but those ICOMS seem prettty expensive

-David No, you need the full psdz, not lite. If you have a 2011-2020 F series, enet works just fine. Don't brick the car. Lite doesn't work for flashing
