If you have Esys and ENET cable, you can inject original CAFD to the module, and VO code.
You will restore default values. |

| The one under E-sys jre\bin directory.
Also when you right mouse click on your jre\bin\jawaw.exe, then properties, make sure that Windows Smartlock is deactivated (under General tab). |

E-sys is Java based, and when it's launched (either standalone, or thru Launcher PRO), it calls javaw.exe located under jre\bin folder.

Are you able to add the iphone to the Evo and use it as bluetooth ?
If yes, try to remove it from idrive system, and connect it back.
Enable Carplay at iphone side, and give it a new try. |

| Just to give a follow-up on this, I finally flashed the NBT EVO from 19-11 to 20-07, and this bug faded away.
Thanks to @"dragosv6" and @"DayvG" for their recommendation to just update the I-level... |
