  Bmw digital key card rétrofit
Posted by: dazdillinger - 01-04-2026, 11:07 PM - Forum: BMW F / G Series Coding & Retrofits & Diagnostics - No Replies

**“For my 2022 BMW X3 G01, I successfully completed the retrofit digital key using the following original BMW components:
• Door handle with NFC module – REF: 51215A65DC7
• Wireless charging platform (WCA) – REF: 84105A82C19
• LTE compensation module – REF: 84108735007

All parts were installed, coded and validated without any visit to a BMW dealership. I used ISTA+ for the wiring diagrams and connections, and finalized the activation through ISTA Online with backend authorization. The system is now fully stable and operational.

It is essential to strictly follow the wiring diagrams — any deviation can lead to malfunction or failure.
As the final step, the vehicle must be removed from the My BMW App account, then re-added with both physical keys present inside the vehicle to allow the key card to be generated correctly.

This retrofit was carried out independently and at my own risk. I am not responsible if someone attempts the same process and experiences issues on their vehicle.”

How are large psdzdata files compressed so efficiently?
Posted by: armenh7 - 01-04-2026, 03:15 AM - Forum: BMW F / G Series Coding & Retrofits & Diagnostics - Replies (1)

I was curious how the files are compressed to get such a great difference between the actual file size vs the archives that are shared. For example, the psdzdata lite is 8gb unpacked but 1.8gb packed. I also noticed the file format is in zip and not 7z so I would guess it's not using LZMA2. I am trying to make "mini" psdzdatas that contain files I need for flashing units that take long (like NBTEVO) and would like to make the files take less storage.

This question was mainly intended for Hashtagmaster but his inbox is full so posting here.

Thanks in advance.

FDL coding with Secure Coding 2.0
Posted by: Vizmor95 - 12-28-2025, 11:01 PM - Forum: BMW F / G Series Coding & Retrofits & Diagnostics - No Replies

Hey everyone,
I just got my BMW G20 2021 imported from USA to EU and I'm currently working on coding BDC_BODY3 module to change how my rear blinkers work (so it doesn't blink together with a stop light).
My problem is that I don't see a way to edit FDL in E-Sys. I know that I should use some luncher to generate a token and make it work, but I found out that tools like Launcher Pro, BimmerUtility, EsysUltra, don't support token generation for cars with Secure Coding 2.0.

I'm quite new with BMW coding - is there a way to get a token to code FDL in a car with SC 2.0 as a private person?

Hi everyone,

My name is Gilbert.
My car is a G31 M550d from December 2017.
I always used BimmerCode to code my cars.
Now I have switched to E-sys, because I think you can code a lot more with it. And I am curious if I can apply some nice tweaks to my car on this forum, with your experience and help.
Thanks in advance for that!

Best regards,
Gilbert
