Hello everyone, i'm new to the forum. I recently bought my first BMW (320d f31 2016) and was looking around for interesting forums when I came across Bimmerscene.com. Looking forward to get to know the "scene".

I messed up a friends car and ended her
Posted by: Lennart - 10-13-2021, 01:41 PM - Forum: New Member Intro - Replies (3)

Yup, I tried to update the nav maps from a friends F36 and ended up here. He is driving around with his system asking for an fsc code and I can't fix it. But then I saw this is a very nice forum with lost of info. I am Lennart from the Netherlands and I drive a BMW 535D myself.  I like to play with updates and such and maybe one day I can contribute myself.

Not sure if anyone reads this, but if you can help me getting my friends nav back up and running again I will appreciate it a lot. Him too!

ÎŜ†Ä Fault Diagnosis Procedure / Clear faults - Chicken and Egg
Posted by: Colink2 - 10-12-2021, 12:37 PM - Forum: BMW E Series Coding & Retrofits & Diagnostics - Replies (6)

Please help regarding ÎŜ†Ä fault diagnosis.

I have a 04862 error

After checking for faults I go into the Test Procedure
When I click Continue to do each test eg Charge air Duct leakage test I get a message to clear all faults before continuing.

But-
How do I clear the faults when still in the test procedure steps
OR
If I exit the Test Procedure Steps to clear the faults, how do I get back to the Test Procedure Steps
If I run the identify faults procedure there is likely to be no faults, thus no Test Procedure
