Hello everyone,

I’m having an issue with the SCR/AdBlue system on my 2014 BMW F10 520d (N47, xDrive).
Symptoms:

• On the dashboard (KOMBI) it shows: “Refill AdBlue in 50 km” → this warning is frozen, it never decreases.
  
• On the iDrive/head unit, it shows: AdBlue level ~17L and range ~700 km (which decreases normally as I drive).
  
• I’ve already driven ~110 km since the warning appeared, but the dashboard still shows 50 km fixed.
  

• 29FB00 – SCR system, warning and shutdown scenario: Warning level 1
  
• 29FC00 – SCR system, warning and shutdown scenario: Warning stage 2
  
• 805256 – Active tank SCR fluid level sensor: Echo recognised as faulty
  

• Emptied and cleaned the AdBlue tank, refilled with 14L fresh BMW AdBlue.
  
• Replaced the tank cap (the old one had a broken seal).
  
• Ran ÎŜ†Ä 4.39.20:
  • Cleared DDE & SCR fault memory multiple times.
    
  • Tried Reset adaptations and SCR adjustments/adaptations (active tank + “AdBlue replaced” reset).
    
  • Attempted Initialization of SCR tank system several times → procedure always aborts (doesn’t complete filling/draining/pressure build-up).
    
• After resets and sleep cycles, faults 29FB00/29FC00 always come back.
  

• Dashboard warning is frozen at 50 km (not counting down, even after driving more than 100 km).
  
• iDrive shows AdBlue range correctly and decreasing.
  
• Initialization in ÎŜ†Ä always fails.
  

• Has anyone seen this mismatch before (frozen KOMBI countdown, but iDrive range working)?
  
• Is this definitely pointing to a failing active AdBlue tank module (pump/level/quality sensor unit), or is there another reset procedure (e.g. Tool32 job, ė-šÝ§) that could clear the 29FB00/29FC00 shutdown stages?

I recently replaced my stock wheels with a bigger rim and different size tires.....now my speedometer is off.  Can I do anything to correct this?

Unfortunately I cannot locate the document in ÎŜ†Ä.


Any help would be appreciated - planning on installing the updated spring myself and need to see the procedure.

Hi All,

As above, I have a strange NBT Evo USB problem.

Its a bench setup (nbt evo, zgw, jbbr and kombi), have also a homemade EGS emulator and volume controller.

I have both USB enabled as per the 1000's post online, (with all codecs enabled), however with any media usb I plug in sees the USB and all songs/video, playlists etc I can search the media and select all tracks playlists, albums etc. once I select them, they refuse to play, (time display stays on 0.00).

I plug an ipod in and both ports work perfectly.

Plug a map update and again both ports work.

Same USB sticks and ssd work perfectly in my car (nbt evo retrofit), so not a media formatting problem.

The only way that it seems to work (not 100%), is if I power the unit and on first time see usb.

I select the usb port with music on and then power nbt off, power unit back on and then the nbt powers on and selects the USB, it then loads media and then for some reason, starts playing... if i then select aother track in same auto select (first on media) album, then that works, if however I select another playlist again stops working.

If I select any other media source (ipod, radio, dab, tv, spotify etc), USB stops working and wont restart playing.

Ive tried multiple codings of USB ports and spent a lot of time looking online.

I really don't know what to do next, I need this working on the bench as I'm planning to retrofit into a mates e46 (with homemade i-bus->canbus emulator), I have the emulator built and im testing but can't deploy until all nbt evo features work on the bench, id6, atm/gps, phone, carplay spotify, all working perfetcly,  just this stupid USB problem.

Any one have any ideas.
