Hello,

I have undertaking a larger project, and maybe I'm in over my head.

Everything is installed, but I have trouble coding it to the car.

I have successfully vo coded the RSE and the CIC. But I am having trouble my my screens.i can't get to flash them. The Hwell stays blue or red.

I tried to get Hw I'd from sat actual with no luck.

I guess the 2 CIDs in ėšÝ§ are the rear screens, eventhough I thought they would be called Fd and Fd2.

Another peculiar thing is, that when I calculate TAL, it shows both Rse mid and Rse High. I only vo coded the mid, as the high option is for 7 series with the controller in the rear seat.


Any help is appreciated before I ship it off to a professional.

A last remark could be that I messed something up in the wiring, but it should be OK.

The screens turn on when I start the car, but the image is orange and the they turn off (I can send a blue test image to both screens in ÎŜ†Ä)

(Disregard all my other faults most of them is due to an other retrofit I'm into (surround view), I just need to connect the right mirror camera properly.

I'm not sure how old/new this site is, but I recently stumbled upon this site while searching for the latest EVO North America map, and decided to become a member right away. And when i click start flashing i get this:

A VCM-update after a TAL-Execution is not possible without a proper FA.
Please open an FA with appropriate VIN, if you want to update the VCM after the TAL execution.
If you don't want to update the VCM after the TAL execution, either deactivate the VCM-Update, or choose a direct ecu connection. (G310)



Well i have the full data package, and i want to flash MGU and not one of the seat modules so why the error? and how to fix this?
