Coding steering wheel buttons

I have these fitted for adaptive cruise control on my F32, unfortunately the right selector has stopped working so I have replaced with an identical unit from another BMW, the replacement has only a limiter on the left hand side unit.

When the new Right hand side unit is plugged into the left it doesn't allow Cruise control or any functions to work just the limit function.

So essentially I've lost all my functions on the left hand side with the new unit...

is there any work around PLEASE!!
