Hello all,
im retrofitting my G60 tow bar but there are no instructions. When looking at aftermarket wiring kits they are suggesting routing the cables through a gland just in front of the rear right boot storage compartment well (see photo).
Looking at the OEM harness it appears to go through the cable pipe loom on the rear of vehicle, looking at the retrofit guide from the X5 it suggests drilling a 7mm hole through this pipe, cutting the pipe and inserting the cables (this looks like a very difficult/hard access point), almost looks plastic!
I have attached the aftermarket wiring harness guide photos below, anyone have any idea what this gland is meant for, or tips if this isn't the best one to use? If anyone is aware of the size/type of grommet suggested that would be great (will save me butchering the one in there currently).
