Bit of help - KAFAS2 FSCs

Hi all,

Car is 2016 F31 with factory KAFAS2 and 5AG (lane change warning) and 5AS (driving assistant).

Purchased an OEM FSC for SLI (8TH) and coded KOMBI, HU, and KAFAS2, then loaded new FSC. All works well there, FSC accepted, and SLI working fine.

But FSC 0xBE (front collision warning) is 'not available' but I definitely had it before (I recall the warning happening in the vehicle!). All options are still in the menu in the car (early, medium, late) and I believe it is part of option 5AG.

0xBF (pedestrian detection) FSC is still accepted, working fine.

   

I don't really want to test front collision warning in vehicle for obvious reasons, so I can't confirm it works or not, but if FSC is not available I'm assuming it is not. If relevant, I flashed KAFAS2 and all other modules to latest FW last March, without issues. 

I have searched my backed up FSCs but I think I only backed up FSCs from the HU.

Any guidance would be appreciated. Maybe I need an OEM FSC repair kit?

So it turns out, after obtaining a OEM FSC pack (which includes any KAFAS2 FSCs also for reference) did not have BE from factory - even though I definitely received a frontal collision warning in the car before, and have all the associated menu options. Odd!

Maybe the KAFAS2 flash to newest I-level did something.

Can anyone here supply OEM 0xBE FSC? Got a couple of quotes but very expensive. I got an OEM SLI FSC code recently for just over €40, direct from dealer.
