My license worked fine.

Just a heads-up for others:
The license uses the hard drive's GUID to bind itself to a specific computer. When you merge or change the partitions (where the license is), the system assigns a new GUID to the hard drive. As a result, the previous license still contains the old GUID and will no longer work with the new configuration.
