DIS v44 installation + Install instructions for E31 diagnosis

Hi Everybody.  Have been on a long quest to be able to diagnose early E31 840 and 850  pre OBD using ADS interface and INPA.  Had limited success to accessing DME (partial access to information) and other modules.  I am trying to find a copy of DIS v44 and installation instructions to further being able to diagnose these models.  Any help or guidance likely to help in preserving my sanity.  Thanks in advance.

In case it does help. I am having success using the latest ista version with icom and an orginal round obd adapter from bmw. So far having no trouble accesing varoius old bmw including my e32 750 from 1988.

thanks for your reply. I am really interested in your response. So far I have been told to use early versions of INPA, Ediabas in conjunction with the Tiny ADS. Have been trying to get full access to the modules on the early M70 e31 for over 12 months, so your option is very interesting. I have icom Next, and ISTA 4.39.20. round 20 pin cable and K +DCAN switchable cable. Can you give me more details on how you connect to your car and what changes I need to make to .ini files, etc and setup in ISTA. Very keen to try and see if I can have success with the early e31 840 & 850's. Your help very much appreciated
