Bimmer Utility 2022 F/G Series Coding Solution - Latest Mapping - Lifetime Updates

I found a Headunit Professional H5.1 (year 2022) with a DAB antenna on eBay. It is used, and I am looking to replace the current Headunit Professional H4.1 (year 2019) without DAB that is installed at the moment.

Originally, my BMW i3 had the basic version without navigation and CarPlay.

With BimmerUtility, I managed to code everything and get my BMW i3 to recognize the new head unit. However, the navigation system remains stuck on loading, and Apple CarPlay is no longer available.

easy task , you need to patch the headunit and load patched activation files for navigation and carplay .

Bimmer Utility can't help you with this task , actually non of the launchers can help in this case , you need someone who can provide a feature installer code for your car with your car VIN .

Don't waste your money on buying OEM MAP Update and Carplay. Rob he can offer you a patch solution which doesn the exact same job but costs at least 70% cheaper than BMW-Store prices.

Guys I have activated CarPlay and also updated maps to receive full screen (coder did it for me remotely via Esys) after that I can’t access HU to code anything via BimmerCode.

Will I be able to access HU codings (B&W EQ for eg.) if I purchase Bimmer Utility?

this is a typical stupid bug / failsafe feature in bimmercode , if Carplay is activated while your car shouldn't have carplay ( Production year or FA doesn't include Carplay ) then bimmercode will refuse coding the headunit.

Bimmer Utility has no issues with that .

Hope BimmerCode will fix this bug, if not - gonna buy BimmerUtility.
Is there any other alternative I can try for only enabling Bowers and Wilkins EQ for my G12?
