Problems with ISTA installing.

Hi everyone!

I've been fighting with ISTA installation for 2 days straight and now I need some help. 
I bought a separate laptop for BMW, re-installed window and at first I installed BMW Standalone tools and then I downloaded the ISTA 4.52.40 Standalone and Lite psdzdata 4.53.41 (Since I won't do coding, just diagnostics).
I'm using the ENET cable not K+DCAN.

After installing I noticed that it is extremely slow but looked like it is running. When connected to the car it read out the basic data just fined and then gave error "API-0013: INITIALIZATION ERROR". After studying forum I found this registry patch that should have fixed it but now I get the Error "Sec4Diag.OtherExceptions" and it freezes there.

So my 2 biggest concerns is - 1) How to get it properly running and scanning the car 2)How to make it work faster (I know that it should be a lot faster)

So maybe someone can help with detailed installation process, changes that need to be made etc? I remember BimmerGeeks time when I first installed Rheingold there was detailed pdf with all the setup files, for new ones I can't seem to find it.

try to rename C:\EDIABAS folder to something else , so that ISTA uses its integrated EDIABAS for the interface settings.

I just fixed my installation after almost 1 month of trying

1. uninstall ista
2. open regedit and delete all entries related to BMW/ISPI/ISTA (some of them are in wow64 folder in regedit )
3. reboot
4. Install Ista again - it will create a Ista icon and 2 EDIABAS icons ( 7.3 and 7.7) but they are blank
5. After ISTA finished installing do not open do not reboot right away 
6. Unrar EDIABAS folder from install directory to c:\EC-APPS it will put 2 folderes there EDIABAS 7.3 and 7.7 and the icons on the desktop won't be blank anymore
7. Restart 
ISTA 4.52.40 needs ediabas 7.7 for newer cars you duble click ediabas 7.7 shortcut on desktop and open ISTA - it should work fast and without errors

Hey Man, big thumbs up for this - it works!
Now only question about the speed, the vehicle identification part takes around 2.5minutes, usually it was the fastest part. Is there any way to increase the speed or this is just some newest ista bug?

I am afraid that on this version the vehicle identification generates a lot of data alomost the same amount of data (and FASTA data) that the official version send to BMW servers.
I tryied to mod the registry so it would be faster but either it bricks the instalation or just does the exact opposite and makes the vehicle identification take 10+ minutes.
If anyone else has a fix for this please share

P.S.
I can live with vehicle ident of 2-4 minutes, and the even if the logs are a lot larger then 4.39.xx after the identification everything is snappy.

Thank you. Do I need Torrent? Because it seems that it only supports Torrent. I mainly use mega. Not sure if a mega version is available?

Hey everyone, just wanted to know if anyone has installed the ISTA programming along with the newest version of ISTA. If so, is there a torrent download for it and when installing what file does it have to be under? I had a full version but for some reason after i unzipped it is was a pszdata file which I moved to the other ISTA main file folder but it wouldn't install. ANy help is much appreciated.
