ISTA+ Standalone 4.55.12 en-GB
#41
Tried to install and no luck.

The install files are on D: drive in 4.55.12_BScene directory.  C: drive has 176 GB free space.

ISTA + Standalone Setup launches and installs some windows files.  Then it extracts "files from archive".  This continues for about 1.5 hours and the status bar progress to about 5%.  The status bar then resets to zero and the status is still "Extracting files from the archive""

IS launches and installs some windows files.  Then it extracts files from archive.  This continues for about 1 hour and the status bar progresses to about 5%.  Then the status bar resets to zero and Status indicates”Extracting Fles from archive”.  I stays like this for hours.ISTA + Standalone Setup launches and installs some windows files.  Then it extracts files from archive.  This continues for about 1 hour and the status bar progresses to about 5%.  Then the status bar resets to zero and Status indicates”Extracting Fles from archive”.  I stays like this fo
What am I doing wrong?

One problem is, if you have around 100GB free space and only run the setup, it will occupy 84GB and the setup will say that you don't have enough space, so you will need around 160GB free to install.

The setup files are on another drive (D) which has 166 GB free.

The C drive has 176 GB free so that would seem to meet the 160 requirement?

Consider 250/300gb needed on C: for install + temp files.

installer extract splitted files in temp folder, then build them, then copy in destination folder, and finally clean temp folder/files.

Damn.

So the setup directory and the final instal have to be on same drive?  Can't install to C from another drive?

Thanks for your input
