Problem with the 2VB coding
#1
Dear all.

I just coded 2VB for tire pressure in my G30. After adding 2VB to VO and code BDC-BODY2, DKOMBI2, HU_NBT2, DSC3, SAS2, I cannot set the tires, when I click for set only loading screen and nothing happens. Also, cannot change from summer to winter tires. Anybody has an idea what went wrong?

Any help appreciated.

The G30 should allready have this?

Let the car sleep and try again. When you revert the changes does it work fine?

The G30 in Thailand has the receiver hardware, but not the 2VO option, and also not the TPMS sensors.

I have coded everything again and now it is working. Seems like during the first coding not all modules were correctly coded.

Hi mate, I am trying to add TPMS sensors to '17 540i here in Australia. I believe our G30s come ready with RDC hardware but without TPMS sensors. I certainly had to get 433Mhz Autel TPMS sensors in a couple of months back. So yesterday I coded 2VB in using E-SYS and tried to detect the TPMS sensors, which are not getting detected.

So now the iDrive is throwing a tyre pressure warning on startup and in my dash. Since the TPMS sensors are installed in the car, it is very difficult to initiate them again without removing the wheel and tyre off. The phone does not pick up NFC signal in the sensor.

In your post above, you mentioned coding "2VO", whereas I read the option is 2VB, which one is correct ?

Bro,

Not only Code and coding, the general Thailand some not including sensor. so you need to install sensor in the wheel, pm me if you need to good sensor one.

The vehicle must be driven at speeds >20 km/h (>12 mph) to teach-in new tire pressures. The current teach-in status (progress as a %) is indicated in the display.
The sensor doesnt transmit nfc signal its radio waves at 433mhz. You either need RDC tool with ista to teach-in or drive for awhile and it will perform the teach-in automatically.
coding is 2vb only.
