i m looking for some help to get my ista and icom up and running again.
the icom that i have is a genuine one that i bought from my bmw dealer.
i used ista+ software and had it up and running and did some stuff on my own car.
then a friend of mine asked to have a look at his doughters mini and i downloaded some sp daten for that car beqause i did not heve them on my computer. and thats where the troubles started. since then i have not been able to use ista/icom it no longers recognises the car that is connected to it.
i have tried updating the icom (found the firmware on the forum here) i can not get the update on my icom not via the actia webpage of the icom or via ista... firmware version now is 101
and also instaled a newer version of ista 4.49.23. none of these have helped, the problem remains exacly the same.
anyone have some ideas?
