I have 2020 530e MSP with HK audio
couple days ago, I got one coding value which can change BOOSTER's value, and I know new id7 change to RAM with Booster for subwoofer under the seat or outside of speaker(I don't know what this means)

which is like this and value can change 00, 01, 02 (Default is 00 - double checked with my original backed up CFID)
-<group id="3002"><function comment="BOOSTER_VARIANT" mask="00000111b" end="30" start="30">02</function></group>
and guy who told me this coding value he said 02 is more powerful bass and clear high
but I searched in internet and other post said
Booster variant 1 = Used to power additional speakers in HK setup
Booster variant 2 = Used to power additional speakers in B&W setup
my real question is
1. what exactly this BOOSTER value can do? increase AMP power to speaker?
2. if HK audio is installed, value 2 can kill speaker due to over power?
3. if this is powerful coding function, why default value is 00 for HK audio installed, BMW factory setting did not mind at all?? or
if some knows about details, please share some idea
Thank you
Well, from what I see, you are looking at MGU coding parameters. The only value that can be active on any vehicle is 0x00. There are no conditions when it can be changed by any FA-element. So my guess is it can be some obsolete parameter that determined the type of RAM back in days when it wasn't defined in RAM itself.
